CLIL Malta course for teachers

From 19th October to 23th October two of teachers from El Pilar did a course in Malta of “Content and Language Integrated Learning” (CLIL). This course involved general methodology about the integration of a second language, usually English. In the last few years some subjects as technologies, music or computer science have being taught in secundary school using this methodology.

There were teachers from Croatia, Hungary, Finland, Germany or Rumania which added to the course a cultural knowledge and teaching experience perhaps as interesting as the content itself.

From the very beginning we have been enjoying this experience as a way of understanding better how in other countries English is used to teach contents as geography, biology or maths.
